Momentum has now been changed to LBC Missions. We decided to change the name because we wanted something that would bring a more unifying affect throughout our church. Missions is a core component of the church and each individual should be a part of it. As in Acts 1:8 and the Great Commission of Matthew 28:18-20, we believe that God has called all of His servants to spread the Gospel. It is our goal to not only “make disciples” but also see that they in turn go and “make disciples.” In fact, it is our desire to see the Gospel spread from our neighborhoods to the nations.
Great things are taking place in Missions at LBC and I feel so honored to be a part of this great ministry! I am looking forward to seeing God work by transforming lives both in whom we serve and who we serve with.
